311.2 on the odometer now so that means 72.7 for last week. This week is going to suffer a bit with Katrina in town. I am home until MSU opens back up at 12:30 tomorrow. At least I have Hurricane mix. At least I am going to be smart and shut the box formerly known as Bill down...

MSU has finally made a good decision, closing at noon today. I was at the dentist this morning when I heard the news. Most of the local schools are already closed or closing early. According to weather.com one of New Orleans' levees has been breached.

I love MSU. Katrina is marching on, USM has a mandatory curfew, and MUW is closed after 1:00 PM tomorrow. No email from the president and nothing on the website yet either. At least I have some hurricane mix, but no rum...

So when I heard of Katrina it was a weak storm, might hit category 1, and just dump a lot of rain on Florida. Now all of a sudden it is in the Gulf Coast and taken Mexican steroids or something and grown to a category 5. Poor New Orleans. Please say afloat for the Tulane game. At least the entire state of Mississippi looks like it is going to catch up on rainfall all at once.

Emily and I met up with Sarah and Cory last night and watched The Brothers Grimm. It was somewhere between sucking and ok, a little closer to sucking though.

274 on the odometer already this week just means that I rode too much last week.
Interested in Phi Mu Alpha? We have a website now, not so pretty but I am going to beautify it eventually.

Take Me Home by Plug in Baby is my favorite song now, sounds kinda like old Garbage. I heard them for the first time on radio wazee on iTunes radio. Sadly it is kinda hard to find any good information about them because Muse (another great band) has a song named Plug in Baby. Luckily I did find a place to download some of their music legally...

Now I have 238.5 miles on the odometer so that makes 56.5 for this week. It is so freaking hot so I am happy to have made that.
Emily, Nathan, and I went and watched The 40 Year-Old Virgin last night. It turned out to be pretty funny and not as stupid as I had imagined.

America stands with Cindy Sheehan and tells her to shut up. If only I could find that on bumper sticker. For my bike.

The world has gone to poop.
Campus traffic has gone to poop too. Nearly gridlocked in the great intersection near the Union and post office. Today has been one of those days where I have to rush to Garner every time the check printer hiccups so I have managed to rack up 10.89 miles today on the bike. Started the week with 182 on the new odometer with the hopes of this being a 50 mile week. At this rate I will make that easily by Thursday afternoon... Unless I die of heat exhaustion of course.
Pictures of the Muncies' wedding are here.
