-I am finally finished with that play. The last performance was Sunday afternoon. After seeing it the 20th time it gets just a little boring. What is really bad though is the girl that played Liat told me that she could see us making fun of her dance ine in the light booth. That's bad because we made fun of everyone and we thought the whole time that the stage lights made it impossible to see us. Anyway I did most of the sound effects on my laptop because I was afraid of using the tape. This is me playing the part of the loudspeaker near the end of the play and this is Erin playing Nellie in her announcement of Captain Brackett's appearance on stage.

-It has been a while since I have had time to update this. I have been so busy. The lifeguarding job is pretty easy. It is a lot of fun. Brumfield got me involved in a Little Theatre play, South Pacific, doing the lights and sound. He then went to FL on vacation for a week and left me doing it by myself. He was back last night for opening night and just watched me and David run everything. Everything went good though. I just have four performances left.

-I'm so bored. There is nothing for an unemployed high school grad to do. This Thursday I will start lifeguarding. I am going to make a whole $6.50 an hour for sitting on my ass watching people swim as compared to last summer when I worked really hard on a golf course for $5.50 an hour.

-I've got prom pictures back now, I just have to get to a scanner. Erin looks most beautiful even though she says she looks rough.
-Last Friday was graduation. It was pretty good. I was number nine and got recognized as the Star student. The bad thing was the awful looking gold gowns. Why couldn't we have just worn blue like every other year?
-Last Thursday after graduation practice Trae, Lisa, Melissa, and I went to Clark Creek and spent about 4 hours down there. We built several dams and doing that was so entertaining that it scared us. I've got pictures being developed now.
-Last Wednesday was my last AP test, the Biology test. I think I did pretty good. I am much happier about it than the European exam. I really think I made a 4 on the Bio exam or at least I hope I did. Just if I pulled a 3 on the European exam I can be an AP scholar and that would be neat.

-Wheeee, tomorrow is my last AP exam, it is biology so it should not be too hard. Then Friday is graduation.
-It has been an interesting week. My last day of school was last Thursday. On Friday I had to take the AP European exam. I did ok on the multiple choice but only one of my essays was any good. Friday night Brumfield and I cut Mr Moyer's (one of our assistant band leaders) grass. Then there was a storm that night and we had to go cut up a big limb that fell in his yard the next day. Saturday night was the Lady Blue's spring show and I got to see Lisa dance with them for the last time. Trae was a MC for it and his dancing was somewhat entertaining.

-Today was interesting. I got to check out from school for a while to go to the Lion's club meeting. They gave out four $500 scholarships and I got one. The one I got was the Bobby Irby memorial scholarship. The other three went to people from ACCS. Michelle Fisher, Nathan Redfield, and Lorrie Fuller got them.
-Tonight we got to go to the band banquet. Mr Buckley made a really big deal about me missing my star student banquet to go on the Orlando trip and gave me the merit award for outstanding leadership. I also got little certificates for going to CoLin Honor band and for being a senior. Leighton (we call him Big L sometimes) is the guy that I started out playing trumpet with way back when I was in the sixth grade. I have always been second to him (except one time I beat him at honor band) but we have always gotten along and played neat duets and things. He got the big John Phillips Sousa award. I am really glad that he got it because he really deserved it.

-Tonight was the the awards program at NHS. I got a full scholarship to CoLin (whoo hoo), got the AP Bio award, and was recognized for being the Star Student and being National Merit.
-David my genius brother has proven his intelligence once again. He was helping clean out the pool where he is going to work this summer and when he was climbing up the hill between the deep and the shallow he fell and slid on his face all the way down. He nearly demolished his glasses and worst of all he lost about half of one off his front teeth. Well he went to the dentist today and doesn't look like a vampire anymore.

-Prom was last night. I took Erin Smith (that's right, I am already into college women, even 17 year old ones from CoLin). She was most beautiful of course and I hope to soon have the pictures scanned and on the net. We had loads of fun.

-Today wasn't much fun because I had to spend 3 periods taking tests for drafting. The reading section started off easy with passages like: Green pants are $9.99 and questions like: How much are green pants? But then it got into one really hard part that had technical fiber optic data and asked complicated questions about ordering stuff. That was bad, but I think I did OK overall.
-Hehe, ole billy boy isn't the richest anymore.
-Yesterday was a great day at school. In the morning one girl went into labor (she was 7 months pregnant) and another tried to overdose and commit suicide. So most of the cops in Natchez had to come for that. Then at lunch there was a great orange war outside because everyone got bag lunches with oranges because the cafeteria is under construction.

-I am going to change the color of this text from #006088 to #0060aa. Maybe it will be a little brighter.
-I got another scholarship last Friday, an $800 per year band scholarship. So that puts me up to $41,300 over four years if I only do band my freshman year.
-This weekend was pretty good. I went to Bogue Chitto with the Boy Scouts, there were four leaders (including me) and only five boys. We had a great canoe trip Saturday morning and everything worked out out good.
-Made the Democrat again in a little section about the public schools. April Patton and I are described as "honor students" and there is a little article about us.
