The weekend was great. On Friday I drove Emily to Columbus and she got her makeup done. We left about noon and made decent time all of the way down. Met up with Nicole at her house and crossed back over the bay into Mobile. We hung out for a while at Nicole's aunt's hotel room and then went down to the parade. The floats seemed to be better this year and Emily got pictures of most of them. Her poor face seemed to attract beads and other projectiles like nothing else. After the parade we went back to the hotel and changed. Then we waited on the girls to get ready. Then we waited some more. Finally we headed over to the civic center and the poor girls all almost froze even though it was not more than 200 yards to walk. The ball was loads of fun. Chris finally made it in several hours later so he did not miss out on everything. At some point we left, changed back at the hotel, and headed to Nicole's.
On Saturday afternoon Emily and I went to Gulfport and met up with her friend Kathy. They dropped me off at Chili's so I could watch the MSU/OM game and they could shop. After a while they came back and ate. Later we went to the Brewpub on the Beau and it was super packed. Then Emily and I went to the Imperial Palace and played blackjack for a while until I was ahead a bit and she was down. On Sunday morning I played until I was down a bit and we decided to head home. But before we left, I wanted to play at least $10 in a slot machine. So I did, and started winning. So we stuck around for a while and when I got way ahead, I cashed out and we headed back to Starkvegas.

One test down, one tomorrow, and one next Wednesday. I am just ready to get out of here for the Mardi Gras ball down in Mobile especially since today is so freaking wet and nasty.

The weekend was loads of fun. I closed Brewski's Friday night. Went to Maben Saturday morning with Emily so her dad could paint the front of her car where she scraped the paint off on another car. Closed Coconut's Saturday night. Superbowled most of Sunday with the largest "TV" ever. At least a 10' diagonal, maybe more from an "acquired" projector onto the wall.

I guess 60 days of uptime means that Bill is stable enough that I should now try to update to a 2.6 kernel.

So we lost to Kentucky and I was very sad. Today I saw Kentucky lose and it was wonderful. Plus we spanked LSU at LSU.
I need a nap, not more work.
